Backsliding: How to Return to God Again
Bro. John Barnabas
Backsliding rarely begins with one dramatic sin. It begins with skipped prayer, quiet bitterness, secret compromise, then shame that keeps you away longer.
“Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding.” — Jeremiah 3:22
God Still Calls
The Father runs toward prodigals (Luke 15). Your failure is not stronger than His mercy.
Steps Home
- Confess specifically — not vaguely
- Reopen Scripture daily, even ten minutes
- Return to gathered prayer and fellowship
- Cut off the repeated trap
- Ask a mature believer to walk with you
