To track the growth of our digital reach, our server logs website visits. However, to preserve your privacy, we do not store plain text IP addresses. Instead, every client IP address is salted and hashed using the secure SHA-256 algorithm before being written to the visitor_log.csv file. This hashing process is one-way, meaning it is mathematically impossible to reverse-engineer the hash back to your original IP address. This allows us to calculate unique daily and total visitors without recording personally identifiable information. We also log your device type (Mobile or Desktop) to optimize our visual rendering and responsive layouts.
When you check-in for the daily 5:30 AM morning prayer using attendance.html, we record the name you submit, along with the date and time. This data is written directly to a flat CSV file on our cPanel hosting server. Access to these CSV databases is protected by administrative session authentication. The records are reviewed only by Bro. John Barnabas and Sis. Anselma John to track the spiritual commitment and consistency of our youth fellowship.
Any personal information submitted via our prayer request form, including name, email address, phone number, and message text, is kept in strict confidence. These messages are sent directly to our pastoral team for counseling and intercessory prayer. We do not use this data for marketing or distribute it to outside organizations.
We use essential session cookies strictly for administrator authentication on the dashboard page. No third-party or advertising cookies are placed on your browser. Our server also utilizes robust security configurations, including cross-origin headers, to protect against malicious cross-site scripting (XSS).
